it's called wanding. Low level mobs turn aggressive when you attack one of them. And what's the point of farming low level creatures other than to collect trophies from them? I'd personally love to be able to be able to grab my loot before aggroing the next mob that my aggro circle would touch while doing so.It would make it alot more relaxing. Swap to wand, hit one, cast ps and HB, swap back to enchanting martial weapon and cast SoJ. Done.

Either hit them with a spell of some kind, or find a different build for farming them. It can't be that hard to make a build to farm level 14 and below enemies which doesn't use ash spells.

reason: if you are lvl 20 and the mob is lvl 3 it should be too scared to attack you as that would be suicide.

Yeah, they are more a nuisance than anything else.
If they tag along they can kill you, but you get no exp from them?
The experience is quite bad leveled. Because of that.
If they give no exp, it's because they are not a threat, and they are not a thread hwen they do not attack.

Yeah you're a smart one. They're level 14..I don't think they'll be hurting your 330 rit enough to kill it before you can pull out your vengeful ash urn.

There's no point in doing this. If you don't want to fight a low level mob then just pass them by as they throw sparkles and glitter at you. If they're able to kill you then obviously they present a threat despite giving 0 XP, so it wouldn't make sense for them to go docile.

Plus, the reason low level creatures in Pre-Sear and Shing Jea are docile to begin with is to slowly teach new players to play the game. No need to have this feature in areas where some level of skill is needed.

There's a difference between a low level mob killing you in a real fight, and a low level mob killing you because you're trying to ignore them and run past (which is understandable if they don't grant xp). I for one usually kill those mobs in about 2 seconds and thus don't care either way, but I can see how it would be a neat feature for a lot of players.

Yup. I don't care if you're level 20, if you get enough of the right level 14s on you, you'll die.

Exaclty. A momster that can actually kill you should either give exp or do not attack unless provoked.

Take a look at it from a lore point of view. The world is filled with vicious monsters. They're not going to coo and blink at you as you walk by. Those little skale babies don't count by the way.

And plus, don't forget that a lot of lower level monsters are utility pieces for the bigger, badder, monsters.

Not damage-wise, but interrupt and Hex-wise.

Well from another lore point of view, you're the ultimate badass(Lich, Shiro, Abaddon ring a bell?) so they should either run from you or be arrogant and try see how good you really are. I have no opinion on the matter right now, as I usually try and avoid messing around in low-level areas when it starts getting annoying.

But that's just my two cents

Most of the low levels are one hit kills anyway in the noob areas. As far as the if u get 0 xp then they dont attack, no, because if you get a bad aggro do to a leroy hench or player and get swarmed by enough lvl 14s your toast. (well u can be) So enough low levels can be a challange. If u want to map the low level stuff take all run skills and just dodge, charge, dash etc past it.
